"Philanax Anglicus, or, A Christian caveat" was first published anonymously before 1663, and was taken mainly from "Jerusalem and Babel" by Matthew Pattenson. It was subscribed "Thomas Bellamy," corrected and enlarged by Sir Henry Janson. Cf. Halkett & Laing.
