Work Description
Eine Formation von Raumschiffen fliegt wie ein Vogelschwarm durch den Weltraum. Die Wissenschaftler, die sich an Bord eines dieser Schiffe befinden, versuchen mit ihrem Computer, die Intelligenz unbekannter Wesen eines fremden Planeten zu prüfen. Aber das Experiment wirkt sich verhängnisvoll aus. Die Vergangenheit wird lebendig, und die fremden Wesen ergreifen die Initiative – sie zwingen die Besatzung, das Raumschiff zu verlassen.
Diese dramatische Ausgangssituation bildet den Rahmen für eine abenteuerliche, zum Nachdenken anregende Geschichte, in der einige Menschen einen verzweifelten Kampf gegen die psychotechnischen Eingriffe einer alles nivellierenden Staatsmacht führen.
