A group known as the Whitecaps use violence to brutally clear a vast estate known as the Amarillo Grant of "squatters"--Homesteaders and ranchers trying to make lives for themselves. Cleve Bandelier, former cavalry officer and widowed father of two, leads a group of ranchers the Whitecaps are forcing off the land.
