Dober's writing provides information regarding the history of the campus planning tradition, the process to develop a master plan, and information for the basic building typologies of the university; these typologies include but are not limited to residence halls and apartments, dining and kitchen facilities, classroom buildings, athletic facilities, and administrative units. These studies were conducted in a different era, but still serve as a good point of reference.
There is no significant difference between the 1963 and 1996 additions; formulas and populations to facility ratios remain the same, as do the majority of precedents and imagery.
