Edition Notes
Parts I and III, and Monro's A treatise on comparative anatomy, in pt. VII, have special half titles; other parts have caption titles only.
Contains the same works as the 2d edition, published in 1787 under title: A system of anatomy and physiology from the latest and best authors. This new edition, including 4 additional plates, was revised and the foreign works in part retranslated by Alexander Rotheram. Cf. his dedication to Alexander Monro II, who delivered the lectures.
