The world has entered the Hobart Phase, in which time runs backwards. Old people emerge from their graves, grow to middle age, youth, adolescence and childhood, to be finally unborn in their mothers' wombs. Religious leader Anarch Peak's return from the grave means whoever apprehends him may control the fate of the world.

Work Description

In Counter-Clock World Philip K. Dick expands on the idea of time reversal that was developed in the story "Your Appointment Will Be Yesterday", where deceased people get back to life and grow younger and history is wiped out of books. The story follows a relegious leader that comes back to life.
