It's a story about doctors' wives (and their husbands). They're all friends and all the husbands are successful doctors at a local hospital. Then one day it comes across the radio that a doctor has just shot and killed his wife... and the man who was with her. Right away this causes turmoil and as a consequence both the doctors and their wives have their lives dramatically changed.
