It's Parents' Night for Mrs Furber's class and IQ the class mouse wants to make a special display for the class wall but he can't find the time - it's all filled up with class activities. Eventually after all the children have gone home he has some time to finish his project despite misadventures like getting stuck in a waste bin for a while. Parents' Night is a success.
In this story, Mrs Furber's class learn about how to tell time and each page spread has a new time and a new class activity for that time. It gives young children insight into how time is used to regulate human activities via the engaging antics of IQ the mouse.
