Lutwidge and Robert Nairne), statistical, financial and dietary tables.
The asylum is referred to variously as: "The Asylum, Cottingwood", Northumberland County Asylum", "The County Lunatic Asylum", "The Pauper Lunatic Asylum of the County of Northumberland" and "The Northumberland Pauper Lunatic Asylum"
The asylum is situated at Cottingwood, near Morpeth, in the county of Northumberland.
