Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) BENTON 5.2 FOLIO copy bound in modern smooth-grain black goatskin, by Birdsall & Son of Northampton, Cockerell endpapers, inner dentelles, all edges gilt. Red-ruled text. T.p. of Psalter partially backed with heavy paper, covering early manuscript arithmetic calculations and other inscriptions. Housed in light brown morocco fire-resistant pull-off case by Zaehnsdorf.

Blaydes, owners' signature of Sarah Cass on t.p., and on t.p. verso of Psalter, signature of John Thompson with ms. arithmetic calculations and other inscriptions. Tiny pencilled initials in bottom line of leaf a2: HH (?). Numgbers and ciphers (?) on lower free endpaper recto.
