This is the First Edition, First Printing of this work. It has a $3.50 price at the top corner of the front dust jacket flap. It has no First Edition statement and no line giving the Month and Year of publication. It does not list later printings on the copyright page. It is bound in green paper covered boards with a waxy beige spine with a pebbly finish. The spine reminds one of a book club binding. This Book edition was preceded by a 6 part serialization in The Saturday Evening Post that ran from December 25, 1954 til January 29, 1955 which was titled "The Day New York Was Invaded".
