In this copy the pecularities of format, printing, and publication ascribed to the first edition, second state of vol. 1 are all present. In particular, leaves X,́ a,́ and b ́are not cancelled. Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in 19th century tree marbled sheepskin with spines that are panelled in gilt and have both green and red leather labels affixed. All pastedowns are of marbled papers. A bookplate reading, "Jacob Ley, student of Ch. Ch. and Vicar of St. Mary Magdalene, Oxford" is present on the front pastedowns. The errata leaf in volume 1 is wanting.
