This work has been variously attributed to Urban Tosetti, with Giovanni Bottari as the translator, or to Bottari as the author and translator; but according to Dizionario biografico degli italiani (v. 13, p. 414-415) it is more likely a collective work of the "gruppo dell'Archetto"
Dated and signed on p. 417: Roma 31 de agosto de 1759. A.R. [Amigo de Roma?]
Translation of: Appendice alle Riflessioni del Portoghese sul Memoriale del padre generale de' gesuiti presentato alla Santità di PP. Clemente XIII, felicemente regnante, first printed in Genoa, 1759.
Another edition, without imprint, appeared in the same year with additional material and pagination: [4], 419, [3], 421-440 p.
The "memoriale del padre generale de' Gesuiti" in title is: Memoriale presentato dal padre generale de' Gesuiti li XXXI. luglio MDCCLVIII a S.S. Clemente XIII / by Lorenzo Ricci, first printed Lucca, 1759.
Includes a discussion of Gabriel Malagrida, the Italian missionary in Brazil who was executed in 1761 on p. 75-95.
