Photographers include: Frédéric Martens (the inventor of a panorama camera), Edouard-Denis Baldus, Charles Nègre, Calvert Jones, Maxine du Camp, Gustave Le Gray, Samuel Bourne, William Henry Fox Talbot, and Emile Zola. The collection also includes a photostéreosynthesis portrait of Auguste Lumière by his brother Louis made in 1920.
