Caroline Weston believes that Henry G. Chapman was swindled out of $1500. She describes her daily life in detail during the previous few days. She mentions Henry B. Stanton and says he needs constant polishing from a good wife. Caroline called on Samuel May's family. Caroline advises Anne W. Weston on how to guard her health. She thinks that a schoolteacher named Abba Osgood was unjustly treated by Mr. Bailey. She gives instructions regarding school books. Miss Peabody thought that the abolitionists should buy all the slaves. Mrs. Maria W. Chapman visited the Bronson Alcotts. She mentions Samuel May, Jr.
