Edition Notes

This is probably the first edition of this title printed in America. The true First American edition was published in 1927 by Harper & Brothers but was made up of sheets of the First English edition with a cancel (replacement) title page. The book is bound in orange cloth with black stamping. The front cover has a smaller simplified version of the jacket illustration stamped in the center.
