Noah Carr is an indentured servant to Mr. MacAuliffe, a cruel and harsh master. Noah runs away after Mr. MacAuliffe blames him when MacAuliffe is injured by a horse. After encountering various revolutionaries such as Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Patrick Henry and John Paul Jones, Noah joins the American navy and serves as a crew member on Captain Jones' ship.
