With three photographic illustrations : (1) the miniature "Psalter"map in the British museum (2) a portion of the original Hereford mappa mundi (mounted) (3) photograph of the facsimile (reduced to 14 x 12 cm and mounted).
The lithographed facsimile of the mappa mundi in Hereford cathedral (165 x 134 cm.) drawm, presumably between 1276 and 1283, by Richard de Haldingham e de Lafford, also called Richard de Bello, was made at Hereford in 1869 under the direction of Rev. F. T. Havergal and published in 1872.
