Joyce's life disintegrates the day she suffers a miscarriage. Her already rocky marriage falls apart and she moves in with her father to recuperate. During her recovery, she starts realizing that she has knowledge of subjects that were once completely foreign to her. What's more, dreams and visions besiege her ... all leading to Justin.

After running into him repeatedly, she starts to wonder if her new "gifts" are connected to him. And it isn't long before he starts to question why this woman he's never spoken to before is all he can think of.

Excerpts

As the taxi gets closer to my home in Phisboro, my stomach knots tighter.

“That was funny how the man in front kept his taxi waiting too, Gracie, wasn’t it?”

“Joyce. And yes,” I reply, my leg bouncing with nerves.
