The memoir of a man (1926 - 2013) who, after emigrating to Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1948, was active in promoting African liberation in Nyasaland (now Malawi) and Rhodesia, working with nationalist leaders like Yatuta Chisiza in Nyasaland and James Chikerema and George Nyandoro in Rhodesia. This book covers the years 1959 - 1967.
