PDQ evidence-based principles and practices

Covers most of the material and topics that are included in basic, university-level clinical epidemiology courses. Also includes examples of research studies, how authors present the results of their studies, and how indexes from the four databases (MEDLINE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, and EMBASE/EXCERPTA MEDICA) index them. Designed to include some aspects of a workbook. The theoretical principles are supplemented with many and real and hypothetical examples from all disicplines of health care. The searching assignments at the end of each chapter have suggested solutions in the CD-ROM appendix.
