Three different types of cyanide bearing tailings disposal systems were analyzed. These included: the Scottie Gold Project and Carolin Mines Project, both in British Columbia, and Noranda's Grey Eagle Project in California. The backgrounds and case histories were outlined for each site. A "lessons learned" section was added in each description, which stated the benefits and drawbacks of that particular system.
