The story of John Turnbull and his wife Lillybelle Botts set to struggle from the hideous cycle of hatred and love. John is an 18-year-old Englishman who think of nothing but his love for his beautiful yet cruel cousin Eugenia McNeill. However, after an unforgivable mistake his father sent him to America with his wife Lillybelle. There John's pride, Lillybelle's passion and the rage to love mixed so it did not only destroy those they hate, but also those they love. With the help of Mr. Wilkins and Mrs. Beardsley the couple live a life of fortune and contentment until Eugenia and her husband Andrew Bollister came and ruined everything. Now John's hatred grew and gave him three daughters. The youngest (Adelaide) is the one who take his vengeance and hate not until Anthony, Andrew and Eugenia's son came and fall in love to Adelaide. Together, Adelaide and Anthony built a Romeo and Juliet love story that the tragedy is heart warming and tear jerking. And against John's and Andrew's will, they married. After the struggle and enduring Lillybelle's passion break through and made John realized how wrong he was and realized that he doesn't love Eugenia anymore and Lillybelle is the one he really love.
