Book Details
First Sentence
"This is a theory that coherent sound energy generated in the boundary, that yields such simple harmonic phenomena as edge tones, is responsible for transition to turbulence. Standing wave transverse sound energy causes interlocking of longitudinal laminae, yielding "plastic" flow resistance factors. The longitudinal component of these standing waves result in edge tones."
