This 470 page tome by Kenneth Davies, was initially published in 1965 and quickly defined itself as the standard reference on High Frequency (HF) Propagation; until Davies’ followup work, Ionospheric Radio, comprising some 580 pages, was published in 1991.

While technically dated perhaps, much of the information delineated within NBS80 remains valid today.
