Edition Notes
The date appears on the title pages of Liber II and IV.
Signatures : E⁶, F-H⁴, I⁶, K-P⁴.
Titles within engraved borders including printer's device for Liber 3 and a device with the initials "I G" for Liber II & IV.
"Cervicornus also printed for [Peter] Quentel and Johann Gymnich"--Cf. Colin Clair. A history of European printing, p. 128.
Even though the 2nd and 4th books do not bear Cervicornus' device, the foliation and the typeface suggest that he was the printer of all 3 books. It seems probable that the 2nd & 4th were printed for Johann Gymnich.
WSU MASC copy has copius notes in ink in Liber II with a few notes on the t.p. and first paragraph of Liber III.
002-116885294.
WSU MASC copy bound with the author's Georgica, 1523.
