Includes a petition dated Newbury, March 17, 1779, signed by Jacob Balley [i.e., Bayley] and Davenport Phelps, and an extract of the proceedings of the Cornish Convention, both proposing that the inhabitants of the New Hampshire grants unite with the state of New Hampshire
