Extracted from the chapter on Dooms-day in: Ambrose, Isaac. Prima, media, et ultima. Some editions name "Dr. Bates" (perhaps William Bates, 1625-1699) as author, and several editions are entered under the surname Bates in the National Union Catalog.
Probably issued at about the time of the Hartford edition, which was advertised in the Connecticut courant, Hartford, Aug. 10, 1767.
