Dr. Erickson records his memories of Dr. J.B. Bilderback, the "grandfather" of pediatrics in the Pacific Northwest, during the 1930s when Erickson was a medical school student. He recalls his experiences as the first pediatric resident in Doernbecher Memorial Hospital for Children in 1934 and 1935. His curriculum vitae appears at end.
