Followed by excerpts from "a British magazine for 1762" and from the Boston gazette for Jan. 3, 1763, describing a day of darkness in Detroit on Oct. 19, 1762 (New England experienced a similar phenomenon on May 19, 1780); an article from the Newport Mercury dated May 20, 1780, with military intelligence from the south; a notice by the town assessors of Boston, dated May 25, 1780; and five short advertisements.
Printed in three columns. Textually and typographically identical (except for final advertisement) with the second page of the May 29, 1780 issue of the Boston gazette, printed by Benjamin Edes and Sons.
