Giovanbattista Tusa

Giovanbattista Tusa is a philosopher, video artist and media researcher based in Lisbon and New York. He has studied in philosophy, contemporary arts, cinema in Italy, Spain, UK, Cuba, France. He has been Research Fellow in France and Italy, and worked as Lecturer in Philosophy, Critical Theory, Cinema, Gender Studies in many institutions in Europe and the US. As a documentary filmmaker and video artist, he has had his works screened in Cuba, London documentary film festival, Biennale della Danza in Venice, Coimbra and Paris. His current multidisciplinary research examines radical politics, cinema, ecocriticism, ontological realism and animal studies.
