David Lyon is an expert on surveillance. Currently, he is Director of the Surveillance Studies Centre and Professor of Sociology and Professor of Law at Queen’s University.
Lyon has been studying surveillance since the 1980s. His first book, "The Electronic Eye," was published in 1994. He has since published several books and many articles.
Lyon received his degree from the University of Bradford in the UK.
