Michael Tyrell

Michael Tyrell, born in Brooklyn, has published poems in Agni, The Best American Poetry, The Iowa Review The Paris Review, Ploughshares, The Yale Review, and many other magazines. Finalist for the Yale Series of Younger Poets and a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, Tyrell has published a book of poems, The Wanted (2012) and a collection of prose poems, Phantom Laundry (2016). With Julia Kasdorf, he edited Broken Land: Poems of Brooklyn (2007). He teaches at New York University.
