Roger Wolcott Hall was a veteran and an author.
When Pearl Harbor was attacked, Hall joined the United States Army. After the war, he held a variety of jobs while pursuing his first love, writing.
Hall was born in Baltimore and raised in Annapolis, though as the son of a U.S. Navy officer, his family travelled often.
