Front matter includes notes on printing and acknowledgments. The "Introduction" and "Contents" pages contain narratives about the logic, symbolism and mathematics used in creating the subsequent pages.
The remainder of the book consists of hundreds of pages of complex designs produced by the regular alignment of various markings that strongly resemble ancient cuneiform. The marks are varicolored and printed on thin sheets of assorted pastel colors. The pages are neither labeled nor paginated. The front matter serves as a guide to understanding both the mathematical labeling system on each page and the resulting design based on the formulae expressed in the label.
