The frontispiece port. and leaves [2]-[20] contain engravings with letterpress text on the obverse; the ill., engraved by Robert Vaughan, are numbered 1-19, but in this edition are printed in order 1, 2, 5, 16, 12, 15, 10, 19, [4?], 17, 18, [7?], 8, 9, 14, 3, 6, 13 and 11.
The text in this edition is the same as that of editions with title "Albert Durer revived."
Based on Dürer's Vier Bücher von menschlichen Proportion, and Cousin's Vraye science de la pourtraicture. Cf. Hind.
