The tailings containing cyanide must be disposed of properly to ensure the cyanide will remain impounded. Ideas for proper containment methods were outlined. These plans included: economic value, metallurgical methods, waste treatment choices, competent disposal sites and safe disposal procedures. These points were discussed. A case history of Cannon Mine in Wenatchee, Washington was included as an illistration of these points.
