The Def Leppard Story

Def Leppard have stayed together through all the disasters that have occurred. They lost their first guitarist to alcoholism. Next, their drummer lost his arm in a car crash, and took four years to learn how to play one-handedly. Then guitarist Steve Clarke died of a drink and drug overdose in 1991, after which the group kept a low profile. Def Leppard reappeared at the Freddie Mercury concert at Wembley, gleaned a multi-platinum CD in "Adrenalize" and finished their 1994 tour with a huge open air show at the Don Valley Stadium in their home town of Sheffield. Biographize traces Def Leppards story from their formation in the late 1970s to their current status as a best-selling band.
