First Sentence

"IN all the declarative conceits of Gefture, whereby the Body, inftructed by Nature, can emphatically vent, and in the propriety of its utterance expreffe the filent agitations of the minde ; the Hand, that bufie infrument, is moft talkative, whofe language is as eafily perceived and underftood, as it Man had another mouth or fountaine of difcourfe in his Hand."
