These poems, mainly love poems, were written from 1953 (when the writer was 16) to 1961. Roy Boardman is a teacher of English and literature. Apart from his books on teaching English, he has published a novel - Honky Tonk (2017) - and a number of short stories. He is now working on a second novel set in Naples, where he has lived since 1965.
