The book, written under Dr. Tzannes' pseudonym of Aris P. D'Avenal, is a daring expose' on how our genes shape our personality and...pull the strings on our actions, all part of a dark conspiracy that results in a myriad of dilemmas in modern multi-racial/multi-cultural societies

The book starts with several short stories of...weird human behavior. These stories are true, and they occurred in university towns, over a 40-year period. Intense, furious, discussions with my wife about the stories, lead to fierce disagreements about the origins of the behavior. The flagrant shortcomings of past and current psychological thought cry out for a new theory of human behavior, one more in tune with recent discoveries on the effects of the genes on the human condition.
The second part of the book outlines the proposed theory via a Socratic Symposium, with myself, my wife and my 3 sons as participants. Pointed discourses on the theory's applicability lead us to many subjects of current interest, including survival, happiness, religion, racism, youth violence, homosexuality, sexual and mental disorders, phobias-even people's interest in...celebrities. No subjects are left untouched, and no conclusions are avoided out of fear of political correctness. The discussions are passionate, poignant, and often...hilarious. The human condition is the most fascinating subject of all. The book sheds some new light onto the various human quirks, follies and idiosyncrasies
