A tale about an irresponsible fairy boy, who fools around when he should be doing his chores.
He ends up getting stuck in a black bog in the woods while 'wool-gathering', and makes trouble for everyone
as they try to rescue him—including getting his fairy mother stuck as well.
The wise elders decide that he needs to figure this predicament out for himself,
and leave him to fix this himself ( knowing full well that the sun's warmth during the day should
loosen his sticky situation.) He ultimately gets out, and ashamed, goes home, to the open arms of his mother and friends. As he cleans up, he swears he'll never
go wool-gathering again.
