The cruise of the Kronprinz Wilhelm

This is the story of the Norddeutscher-Lloyd liner Kronprinz Wilhelm and her 251 days at sea. She menaced Allied shipping and managed to evade capture. No lives were lost in her captures as any passengers and crew were accommodated comfortably and well treated until transferred to other ships and put ashore. In April of 1915, with her crew sick and herself in need of repairs, she made for the United States, giving everything she had to get past the blockading British cruisers to intern herself in Newport News, Virginia. It is a great read and should be included in the ship lover's library.
