An edition of Nature I loved (1952)

Nature I loved.

  • 2 Want to read

This is a story from real life - the narrative of a young man who went into the woods of northeern Maine to find himself. First published in 1952, it is now reissued because it still has a true and loud ring for young people and their parents. Badgered by his parents to settle down, find a good job and get married, Geagan spent two years alone thinking things over. He found good solutions. Full of hunting and fishing scenes, young and old alike will identify with this heartwarming true story.
Bill Geagan is no longer living. As an outdoors writer he was well known throughout New England but especially so in Maine. His columns for the BANGOR DAILY NEWS alwasy carried the sure feeling that here was writing from a man who knew and loved the outdoors of his state.
