First Sentence

"Having fet forth our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST in all thofe great and moft folemne actions of his, his Obedience unto death, his Refurrection, Afcenfion into heaven, his futing at Gods right hand, and Interceion for us, (which of all the other hath beenc more largely infifted on) I shall now annexe (as next in order, and homogeneall thereunto) this Difcourfe that follows, which layes open The HEART of Chrift, as now he is in heaven, fitting at Gods right hand, and interceding for us; How it is affected, and gracioufly difpofed towards finners on earth that doe come to him; how willing to receive them; how ready to entertaine them; how tender to pity them in all their infirmities, both finnes and miferies."
