The Roly Poly Policeman is a childrens book about an overweight policeman who endured jokes about his weight until it aided him in the capture of a couple of criminals. The bad guys fled down a hill the Roly Poly policeman gave chase. As he did so he fell and rolled and tumbled until he rolled over the bad guy thus becoming the hero and champion of the day plus earning the respect of the community there after.
