Working hands

This book is a biography of Austin A. Armer (inventor and engineer) by his wife, Alberta Armer. He developed the world's first steriophonic sound system for Magnavox Company in the 1930's. In 1951, under the Marshall Plan, he designed a sugar-beet harvester that modernized the sugar beet industruy in Ireland. He made 13 documentary films on agricultural topics. In his spare time, he built tools and made woodcarvings of birds and animals, made jewelry, fine art and furniture, too photos and grew Japanese bonsai trees.
