Ms. Nancy Rody a registered dietitian and nutritionist employed by Yap District Health Services in Trust Territory. Ms. Rody points out in her article that Micronesia appears to be at the stage of "captive mentality syndrome". She says, "Micronesia is trading its self-sufficiency and healthy life-style for one which is costly-physically and financially."
