About recent work by the Museum of London Archaeology Service in the core of Westminster and in Lambeth. In three parts: firstly, discussing new evidence forthe topography of Thorney Island and the Tyburn outfall, secondly, describing the investigations of the team into Lambeth Palace Gardens and thirdly, the likelihood of the supposed Roman river crossing between Lambeth and Westminster.
