Edition Notes

"The poem attributed to William Blake was probably composed about 1782 ... It was etched on copper by George Cumberland and, according to his account, printed as counter-proofs by William Staden Blake ... in 1784."--leaf [3].

"100 copies printed"--Colophon.

Light green paper wrappers.

Later scholarship suggests that the poem was more likely composed and etched by George Cumberland. Cf. Bentley.
